KuboFlips ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

Who we are

KuboFlips is a short-term rental management company operating in Metro Manila, Philippines. We manage residential condominium units on behalf of their owners.

What we collect

Your mobile number

Your email address

Your answers about your property: its location, unit type, whether it has a balcony, the view, the developer, whether short-term rentals are allowed, how furnished it is, your timeline, and where applicable your current income range, occupancy, pricing method, and hours spent hosting

Whether you agreed to receive text messages from us

Collected automatically

The page address you arrived from, including any campaign tags in the link

An advertising click identifier, if you reached us through a Facebook or Instagram advertisement

Your browser type and device information

Your IP address

Cookies placed by our website and by Meta (Facebook)

If you become a client

Property details, ownership documents, and bank or payout details necessary to operate your unit and pay you

Why we collect it

To calculate and show you your quiz result

To send you that result and follow up about your property

To contact you by phone, text, or email about our management services, where you have given us your details for that purpose

To measure which of our advertisements are working, so we do not waste money showing ads to people who are not interested

To provide our services if you become a client

To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Advertising and cookies

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To understand which advertisements lead to enquiries, we use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API.

This means that when you complete our quiz, we send Meta a record of that action. Your email address and phone number are hashed before they are sent, which converts them into an irreversible string of characters. Meta uses this to tell us that an advertisement produced an enquiry. It does not receive your details in readable form from us.

You can control how Meta uses your information through your Facebook Ad Preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Our quiz will still work if you do.

Text messages

We only send you marketing text messages if you tick the box asking us to. That box is unticked by default. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP or by emailing us.

You may still receive messages directly related to a service you have asked for, such as confirming an appointment you booked.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with:

Service providers who help us run our business, including our customer relationship system (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), Google (for spreadsheets and email), and Meta (for advertising measurement)

Booking platforms such as Airbnb, where necessary to operate a property we manage for you

Government authorities, where the law requires it

Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines. We only use providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 2 years from your last contact with us, then deleted

Clients: for the length of our agreement plus 10 years, to meet Philippine tax and accounting requirements

Advertising measurement data: as set by Meta's own retention policies

How we protect it

We limit access to your information to the people in our business who need it. Our systems are password protected and accessed over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:

Be informed about how we use your information

Access a copy of the information we hold about you

Correct anything that is wrong or out of date

Object to us using your information for marketing

Erase or block your information where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it

Data portability, meaning receive your information in a format you can transfer elsewhere

Damages, if you suffer harm from a misuse of your information

Complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph

To use any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 15 working days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not give your information to the wrong person.

Children

Our services are for property owners and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will tell you directly.
